Job Summary
Supervise the Assistant Project Manager or manage all direct responsibilities independently, overseeing submittals, RFIs, material deliveries, and job photo documentation. Lead schedule development, cost control, and reporting while enforcing risk management parameters and handling change management and dispute resolution. Manage relationships with the design team, owners, and subcontractors, ensuring positive community exposure and participation in industry organizations. Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain proficiency in Primavera P6, Timberline PJ, and Viewpoint. Requires considerable mental effort with moderate physical activity; location may be on-site or in office.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year degree in a relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- 4 year degree in a non-relevant curriculum from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- OSHA 10 Hour certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (or similar scheduling software/application)
- Proficiency in Timberline PJ (or similar project management software/application)
- Proficiency in Viewpoint (or similar AP software/application)
- Working knowledge of Navisworks
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Working knowledge of Sketch-up
- Mastery of Quantity Take-off & Subcontractor Solicitation to support estimating
- In-depth understanding of building components and trade sequencing
- Working knowledge of construction surveying/layout
- Working knowledge of contract language
- Basic understanding of risk management
- Considerable mental effort and comprehension, sustained concentration with frequent interruptions
- Requires moderate, varied physical effort and dexterity including: sitting, standing, walking, seeing 20/20 (with or without correction), talking, and hearing (with or without aids)

- In-depth understanding of building components, trade sequencing, activity durations, scheduling software, scheduling protocol

- Evidence of operating within BLHI Corporate values and requiring same of others
- Understanding of BLHI overall goals and objectives
- Working knowledge of contract language and thirst for training in this area
- Working knowledge of risk management and thirst for training in this area
- Evidence of supporting role in business development process
