Job Summary
The Project Manager will plan and oversee Beem’s enterprise projects, leveraging both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Responsibilities include defining scope and deliverables with stakeholders, developing and tracking project plans and budgets, facilitating sprint planning and backlog grooming, coordinating QA/testing and post-implementation reviews, and providing ongoing status updates. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, QA) and third-party vendors, leadership and mentorship within the project team, and proactive risk and quality management to ensure successful delivery aligned with Beem’s digital-first, people-first objectives for British Columbia. PMP designation is preferred and prior financial services experience is an asset. The position supports hybrid work within the Lower Mainland or Kelowna region of BC.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
- 5 or more years of related experience
- Thorough understanding of varying project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation is preferred
- Prior financial services experience is an asset
- Equivalent combination of the above may be appropriate
