Job Summary
Onsite Project Manager role overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontracting for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities (APIs); coordinates with Superintendent and client/design team; manages project documentation, change orders, and profitability, with emphasis on GMP/FDA guidelines and subcontractor/vendor management; requires BS/BA in engineering/architecture/construction management and minimum 5 years in construction, including experience as Assistant Project Manager; involves active client relations, design management, and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in the construction industry, with at least two (2) in the position of Assistant Project Manager
- Proven prior success at Assistant Project Manager level, or equivalent role
- Ability to review budgets, bids, and procurement; experience with JDE profitability forecasting and reporting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Physical requirements listed (climbing, lifting, etc.)
