Job Summary
Manage BAS and controls installation projects from kickoff through commissioning, coordinating field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and internal operations teams. Plan and execute work in live environments, including phased installations, shutdown coordination, and night shifts when required. Track schedules, budgets, job costs, materials, and change orders while overseeing submittals, installation sequencing, and system startup. Serve as the primary contact for customers, general contractors, and inspectors, ensuring compliance with security, safety, and access protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and resolve field issues to uphold quality standards. This role supports complex automation projects in commercial, industrial, and high-security facilities, requiring strong leadership in active environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in BAS, controls, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of DDC controls installation and HVAC systems
- Experience managing installation projects in complex or live environments
- Proven ability to coordinate shutdowns, phased construction, and restricted-access work
- Experience with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Schneider
- Strong field leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Ability to obtain and maintain required federal badging/security clearance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
