Job Summary
Own the project from all aspects, including creating preconstruction and construction schedules in Microsoft Project and managing procurement timelines. Develop relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure collaboration and customer satisfaction while monitoring costs to maintain profitability. Negotiate and execute owner contracts, manage the closeout process, and ensure compliance with OSHA, Bancroft, and customer requirements. Adhere to risk management and safety policies while partnering with Superintendents. Requires commercial construction experience, a relevant degree or six years of experience, and proficiency in MS Office and Procore.
Required Qualifications
- Access to reliable transportation to and from project sites.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the following software: MS Office: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
- Fundamental experience using databases.
- Able to read drawings and coordinate work of all functions.
- Strong leadership skills regarding subordinates, peers, and customers.
- Effective decision-making, mentoring, and delegation skills.
- Ability to see the big picture, exercise good judgment, and understand the decision-making process.
- Capable of conducting productive meetings, being punctual, and organizing files according to the Bancroft way processes.
- Experience in Commercial Construction is a MUST.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or 6 years project management experience is preferred.
- Procore experience is a plus.
- Be involved in a community non-profit and participate in a professional organization.
