Job Summary

Prepare analysis reports for airport planning, design, and construction while managing project tasks, design, permitting, and construction coordination. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion, maintaining high-quality plans and checking the work of others. Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules while building professional relationships with industry leaders, jurisdictions, and contractors. Requires 8+ years of aviation engineering design experience and a California P.E. license. Based in San Jose, this role offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $180,000.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of aviation engineering design experience
  • California Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Familiarity with contract document preparation and cost estimating
  • Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular's and Engineering Briefs
  • Familiarity with pavement design and FAAR Field Design Software
  • Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation experience
  • Ability to work in a team; both collaborating with and mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  • This is not a remote position
