Job Summary
Deliver projects within set objectives by managing software and hardware development processes and leading a team of engineers through hybrid waterfall and agile methodologies. Consistently communicate with involved parties, create progress reports, and record activities for meetings and presentations. Translate requirements into prototypes of agricultural autonomous machinery while ensuring quality and financial targets are met. Report to Department Managers and Headquarters in Japan, facilitating development across international and remote teams with a willingness to travel for project execution.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a team leader/project manager in a technical product development environment, developing agricultural machinery such as tractors or implements, or experience in developing vehicle automation or autonomous
- Completed higher education like a bachelor's degree in for example a mechanical engineering or technical agricultural direction
- Good command of spoken and written English is a must
- Willingness to travel to support the execution of international projects
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with project management tools and project reporting (Jira is a plus)
- Affinity with control systems, sensors, software and/or the agricultural sector is a plus
