Job Summary
Manage estimates, change orders, and billing processes while supervising subcontractors and monitoring the performance of Superintendents and Project Engineers. Develop detailed schedules with critical paths, coordinate project start-ups, and conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety specifications. Review costs against estimates weekly, approve invoices within five days, and maintain accurate labor productivity reports to keep projects on budget. Travel up to 85% across North America for client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings, fulfilling essential duties at project locations. This role supports Alberici's mission to build critical structures for the automotive and manufacturing industries, offering a clear path to Senior Project Manager or Project Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree related to the construction industry
- 5 years' experience in project engineering, construction project management, or related activities
- exposure to projects in excess of $20 million
- projects in the automotive and/or manufacturing sectors
- Specific experience related to equipment installation (tooling, conveyors, and associated structural steel modifications)
- managing self-perform scopes
- willing to travel to project locations anywhere across North America for extended periods of time (up to 85%)
