Job Summary
Project Manager at Mission Design & Automation to lead automation projects end-to-end across interdepartmental teams. Responsibilities include serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and customers, guiding project teams through kickoffs, scope, engineering changes, schedule and budget management, risk analysis, and issue resolution; communicating timelines and costs to Business Development; preparing status updates and escalating critical concerns; and applying strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects concurrently. The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and travel to customer facilities as needed; prior experience in machine design, build, or programming is strongly preferred, and PMP certification is optional.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field
- 5+ years of experience in the automation industry
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- History of successfully managing multiple customer contacts and projects at various stages of completion
- Some travel to customer facilities may be required
