Job Summary
Diversified seeks a Project Manager to oversee AVE installation projects from initiation through closing, focusing on scope, schedule, cost, quality and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing project communications, coordinating with engineers, CAD and programming teams, leading client relationships, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery, developing and communicating project updates, managing risks and budgets, coordinating drawings and documentation, and guiding design reviews. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, leadership and people-management skills, experience in commercial construction, familiarity with audio/video systems, low voltage electrical work, and a PMP (desirable) plus AVIXA CTS certification. Travel to job sites and frequent stakeholder coordination are expected, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunity for professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Associates/Bachelors degree required and/or equivalent experience
- A PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is desired
- AVIXA CTS certification
- 3 years of experience as a project manager in commercial construction trades and settings is required
- Familiarity with audio/video systems installations
- Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Supervisory and people skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political and people related problems
