Job Summary
Project Manager needed to lead execution of construction projects in Northern Ontario, including builds, repairs, and renovations. Responsibilities include managing contracts, budgets, schedules, change management, and documentation; coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors; traveling across Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec; inspecting products for quality; ensuring HSE and QC compliance; mentoring teams; and maintaining client communications through site meetings and inspections. Required experience includes 8+ years on mid-size construction projects, post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology or architectural fields, contract management capabilities, and proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, ProCore, and Aconex. Bilingual English/French is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience on mid-size construction projects and post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology or architectural fields
- 3-7 years of progressive experience in construction project management
- Experience managing contracts (small, mid and large size)
- Familiarity with contract negotiations, estimating, and financial planning
- Strong leadership, building rapport and negotiation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills with customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build project schedules and manage a project budget
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, ProCore, and Aconex
- Comfortable travelling to remote project sites
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
