Job Summary
Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the stage-gate process for aerospace/defense products, owning schedule, scope, budget, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include surfacing risks and making decisions, removing blockers across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Business Development, and other stakeholders, adapting PM tools to PECO’s processes, and communicating with stakeholders and customers to resolve issues using technical acumen and strong leadership. The role oversees a portfolio of projects from long-term programs to cost-reduction or continuous improvement initiatives, drives resolution of challenges to meet customer needs, and ensures effective written and verbal communications across all functions. Occasional travel required. Desired knowledge includes AS9100/TS16949/ISO 9001 familiarity, aerospace manufacturing experience, understanding of QMS, experience with die casting, injection molding, CNC, and assembly, and proficiency with project management software and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, stage gate). Must be able to obtain/maintain US ITAR eligibility and pass pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience
- Experience in regulated industry such as AS9100, TS16949, ISO 9001
- Aerospace and Defense manufacturing experience, preferred
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems in aerospace or highly regulated industries
- Experience in manufacturing environments with processes such as die casting, injection molding, CNC, and component assembly
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Business Development
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and stage gate project management concepts
- Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- US Person/ITAR eligibility
- Background and drug screening required
