Job Summary
Project Manager Assistant supports planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards. Responsibilities include assisting in planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities; monitoring progress and producing regular status updates and reports; developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; coordinating with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders; preparing project documentation and meeting records; identifying risks and contributing to mitigation actions; implementing health, safety, and quality procedures; reviewing deliverables against client requirements and contracts; managing contracts and procurement activities; and conducting site visits to monitor progress and adherence to plans. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and Microsoft Office, are required; prior experience in the construction/infrastructure sector and familiarity with Qatar/GCC regulations are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 15 years of experience in project management or a closely related role
- Experience working on infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil works
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- MME certification in Qatar
