Project Manager - Asbestos, Lead, Mold & Interior Demolition

Job Summary

Manage asbestos abatement, lead abatement, mold remediation, and selective interior demolition projects from contract award through final completion. Develop project budgets, schedules, work plans, and execution strategies while coordinating project teams including superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and industrial hygienists. Monitor project schedules, productivity, quality, and financial performance to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, state regulations, and project specifications. Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and project partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years of project management experience in asbestos abatement, lead abatement, mold remediation, demolition, environmental contracting, or related industries
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, contract administration, and change order management
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, AHERA, and applicable state regulations
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, asbestos surveys, and contract documents
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast and Eastern United States

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Current Asbestos Supervisor certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER
  • Lead Supervisor or EPA RRP Certification
  • Experience managing industrial, healthcare, higher education, government, or manufacturing projects
