Job Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned banking projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and governance standards. Serve as the primary point of contact between the consulting firm, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution. Develop and maintain project plans, scope, schedules, and resource allocation while monitoring progress, managing risks, and implementing corrective actions. Facilitate steering committee sessions, oversee solution design and deployment phases, and support change management initiatives. Mentor project team members and ensure adherence to client methodologies, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) role in banking industry
- Proven track record in end-to-end application upgrade projects
- Experience in managing enterprise software applications, application modernization, system implementation, or application upgrade initiatives
- Proven experience leading end-to-end software application lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
- Strong understanding of software application delivery frameworks, including Waterfall and Agile practices
- Experience managing application upgrade, migration, modernization, or cloud/SaaS transformation projects within complex enterprise environments
- Experience overseeing software vendors, development teams, system integrators, and technical delivery partners
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions and provide governance over application quality, security, performance, scalability, and operational readiness
Desired Qualifications
- Japanese language proficiency is advantageous for liaising with Japanese-speaking business stakeholders and regional teams
