Job Summary
Direct and coordinate architectural and engineering projects from planning through construction document completion. Manage client expectations, lead multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers, and develop project schedules, budgets, and RFIs. Facilitate communication among internal teams, subconsultants, and clients while leading design reviews, QA/QC analysis, and overseeing deliverables. Review contracts, approve invoices, and participate in site visits. Mentor assistance Project Managers and foster professional growth. Manage project designs across the nation with up to 30% travel. This role supports Apogee Consulting's healthcare architecture and engineering initiatives in 38 states, leveraging a flat organization structure that encourages project ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
- 6+ years in building design as a project manager
- Licensed Engineer or Architect (PE or RA)
- U.S. citizenship
- Travel up to 30%
