Job Summary
Project Manager for Adolfson & Peterson Construction on a large on-site Fargo-area project. Lead project efforts including safety (IIF culture), coordination of budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade contractors in collaboration with the Superintendent. Responsible for reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs; maintaining and updating detailed construction schedules; guiding cost control, procurement, and submittal processes; facilitating weekly site progress meetings and close-out procedures; ensuring quality per AP standards and corrective actions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience on construction projects greater than $5M (or an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience). Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (Prolog, MS Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam) and ability to travel. Estimated pay range: $89,600 – $143,000 per year. Ability to work onsite near Fargo, ND; travel and climate flexibility required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience running construction projects with contract values greater than $5 million
- Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam experience a plus
- Ability to travel
- Willingness to work in various climate conditions
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
- Experience in driving accountability for financial and operational effectiveness
