Job Summary
Experienced Project Manager responsible for managing and controlling assigned construction projects (up to $15 million scope or designated components on large projects) including safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, and coordination with trade contractors, working with the Superintendent to lead the project team. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs; preparing and updating detailed construction schedules; leading cost reviews and close-out activities; managing submittals, payments, and change orders; ensuring adherence to quality and safety programs; facilitating meetings with owners, design teams, and subcontractors; and applying project management principles throughout pre-construction through close-out. Requires proficiency with scheduling tools and construction software, knowledge of risk assessment, cost control, and implementation of project plans; strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills; and travel flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience running construction projects with contract values greater than $5 million
- Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, and project management software (Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam)
- Solid understanding of value engineering, life cycle costing, and project profit/cost processes
- Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements
- Ability to travel
