Job Summary
Project Manager responsible for end-to-end execution of high-speed connector development projects from concept through qualification and production release. Manages day-to-day project planning, schedule control, risk management, and cross-functional execution within a fast-paced NPI environment. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, while applying DFM/ DFA principles, coordinating capacity, and supporting design reviews and qualification readiness. Key strengths include cross-functional leadership across global sites, proactive issue escalation, clear status reporting, strong communication with internal stakeholders and customers, and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications to align product requirements with manufacturing and cost considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related discipline)
- 5–8+ years of experience managing engineering or NPI projects in a high-tech hardware environment
- Experience in connectors, interconnects, electronics, or electromechanical products strongly preferred
- Experience with project management tools and scheduling software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with structured product development or phase-gate processes
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Excellent organizational, planning, and execution skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced NPI environment
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to operate with limited supervision
- Comfortable working with global, cross-cultural teams and time zones
