Job Summary
Lead and deliver environmental projects in Calgary, Alberta, ensuring safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules; manage budgets, forecasts, and client updates; oversee field work including safety, logistics, stakeholder coordination, and vendor management; mentor field staff; ensure field documentation and safety records; supervise contractors; maintain portfolio tracking and internal reporting tools; ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory updates; review technical deliverables and ensure quality; manage invoicing, project coding, and financial projections to meet billing targets; create projects in accounting systems; support proposals and client engagement; participate in performance management and training; complete additional duties as assigned. Required: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Land Reclamation, Agrology, Biology, or related field; 8+ years in environmental site assessments/remediation/reclamation; 5+ years in PM/leadership; strong technical knowledge; professional designation; proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Land Reclamation, Agrology, Biology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental site assessments, contaminated site remediation, and/or reclamation
- At least 5 years of experience in a project management or leadership role
- Professional designation with a recognized industry association
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
