Job Summary
Manage electronic security installation projects by planning schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing field installation and commissioning. Control project budgets and P&L while executing change orders, estimating costs, and monitoring ERP reports to ensure invoicing and collection meet contractual terms. Allocate resources effectively to achieve sales objectives, maintain construction schedules, and troubleshoot issues with financial and contract management tools. Prioritize team workload and develop contingency plans to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least six years of project management experience
- A proven track record and verified references relating to the ability to manager 4+ Million Dollar projects to schedule and budget
- Expert knowledge of PM techniques and tools
- general knowledge of contract laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently
- knowledge of technical and business environments
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player with strong work ethic
- Excellent follow-up and leadership skills
- Strong analytical decision-making capabilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and influence others
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to conduct site walks and attend onsite customer meeting
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- electronic security industry experience
- PMP from the Project Management Institute
- Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.)
- Experience in the security industry
