Job Summary
Lead assigned projects from kickoff through closeout, maintaining work plans, milestones, and documentation while coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Track project budgets, costs, and forecasts to identify variances and support cost control efforts. Operate job site machinery including scissor lifts and forklifts while supporting mechanical, electrical, or system installation activities. Serve as the central point of contact between engineering, procurement, and field teams to facilitate updates and alignment discussions. Maintain clear communication with clients, personnel, and leadership while identifying risks, documenting scope changes, and escalating critical decisions. Ensure project activities comply with established safety, quality, and operational standards. Anticipate up to 50% travel within the US and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 8 years of project management experience in construction, automation, industrial installation, or related fields
- Experience supporting or leading mechanical, electrical, or system installation projects
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in project scheduling and cost tracking tools
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across North America
Desired Qualifications
- You hold a PMP or equivalent project management certification, or are actively working toward one
- You have hands-on experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, or construction tools on project sites
- You have managed projects involving automated storage and retrieval systems or complex industrial material handling platforms
