Job Summary
Oversee projects from award through completion, coordinating with customers, internal teams, and external partners across engineering, storefronts, curtain walls, operable windows, doors, unitized systems, skylights, and glass. Maintain seamless communication with stakeholders to ensure project scope aligns with quotes and design needs while developing detailed deliverable schedules and organizing comprehensive project documentation. Manage complex projects involving multiple products across various manufacturing plants, utilizing technical expertise in glazing systems and proficiency in Microsoft Project and ERP tools. Define scope accurately using architectural and structural drawings, demonstrate fair negotiation skills, and uphold a safety-first mindset while collaborating with office and plant personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the curtain wall industry
- Strong grasp of glazing systems
- Experience with field installation
- Experience with product fabrication
- Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple products across various manufacturing plants
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Familiarity with standard project management tools
- Skilled in writing technical documentation related to product design, performance, and installation
- Deep understanding of architectural and structural drawings
- Ability to define scope accurately
- Comfortable working with all levels of office and plant personnel
- Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and business partners at project sites and offices
