Job Summary
Lead and manage all aspects of aerospace transparency projects across various programs from concept through production and sustainment, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company goals. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, R&D, and procurement teams to drive seamless program execution and support process improvement initiatives. Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and MIL-STD standards. Prepare and present regular program status reports to senior management. This fixed-term, fully onsite role in Sylmar, CA, reports to the Aerospace Site Lead and offers a base salary of $90,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of project management or engineering experience in aerospace or defense industries
- specific experience in transparencies or related components
- Knowledge of aerospace transparency materials (e.g., acrylics, polycarbonates, glass), manufacturing processes, and testing methods
- Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers
- Proficient in project management tools and software
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

- This is a fixed-term role, anticipated to last 9 months
