Job Summary
Manage aviation projects from Business Case through Closeout, overseeing design consultants, construction support, and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Administer project activities by coordinating with airport tenants, airlines, and governmental agencies while utilizing approved software like Primavera P6 and BIM. Proactively resolve issues and claims to minimize client exposure, ensuring weekly status reports and monthly progress updates are submitted to senior management. Review change orders and lead negotiations for design and construction services. This role supports DFW-DCC goals, requires a valid Class C driver's license and SIDA-cleared badge, and involves weekly reporting.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and be able to obtain a certification to drive in DFW's AOA movement area
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge at DFW
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Civil PE license preferred but not required
- Previous aviation project management experience preferred but not required
