Job Summary
Understand site investigation and remediation techniques to drive client solutions. Manage projects by establishing objectives, defining scope, and supervising all phases in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule. Provide management and guidance to staff, subcontractors, and vendors while delivering technical oversight and quality control. Engage clients regarding service capabilities and offer mentorship to team members. Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks to consistently deliver profit margins as planned. Oversee and direct Project Managers with multiple projects as needed. Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy and progress.
Required Qualifications
- BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field
- Four + years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management and business development experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
- Successful candidate will be required to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license
- The role has a preference to be a hybrid work model
- can be based out of Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins or Glenwood Springs, CO
- all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development experience
- Licensed (Professional Engineer or Geologist)
- Experience working with Local and State of Colorado,regulatory agencies
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current)
- PMP certification
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
