Job Summary
Project Manager responsible for technical, schedule, and cost performance of complex projects in accordance with contract requirements. Drives project teams to meet objectives by managing the technical direction through the entire project lifecycle and reporting performance internally and externally while setting and managing customer expectations. Key duties include supporting cost and schedule estimates, capturing and achieving customer requirements, generating and tracking Integrated Master Schedules, developing risk and opportunities registers, allocating resources, exercising change control to minimize scope growth, performing Earned Value related analyses, negotiating updates to project plans, disseminating lessons learned, and coordinating supplier tasks to ensure alignment with project deliverables. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s (required) and a Master’s (preferred) in engineering, IT, or business, plus PMP certification and aerospace/defense experience. Responsibilities also encompass stakeholder liaison, contract compliance, and coordination across multiple international sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university required
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Minimum of five years relevant experience, seven years preferred
- Aerospace/defense Industry experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems
