Job Summary
HVAC Project Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with specifications. Works with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage project planning and scheduling, allocate resources (materials, labor, equipment), monitor budgets, review vendor agreements, and implement cost-saving strategies. Provides leadership to field teams, foremen, and subcontractors; maintains clear client communication and manages risk, quality assurance, and compliance with safety and building regulations. Oversees project documentation, close-out, and ensures timely delivery of deliverables; proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD; willing to travel to job sites and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
- EPA certification and NATE certification advantageous
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably HVAC or construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication for client relationships
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD)
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, installation processes, and building codes
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Ability to travel to job sites as required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
