Job Summary
Manage project execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction by maintaining complete job files, monitoring scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinating customer-engineering change orders. Schedule assigned projects based on delivery requirements and workload, review weekly production meetings, and track material delivery dates. Direct commodity managers for quotes, analyze schedule delays, and ensure work orders comply with controlling documents while establishing workflow processes. Collaborate with engineering staff on drawings and create transmittals within project network folders. Ensure work is performed within outlined policies and expectations while providing high-level escalation to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years project management experience
- Strong preference for oil and gas industry experience
- Registered Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Minimum 5 years Oil & Gas production experience
- Knowledge of ASME, API, NFPA, AGA and other standards including welding procedures
- Experience working within multidisciplinary matrixed teams and in managing work against safety, quality, budget, and time indicators
- Multi-tasking and ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing priorities in a matrixed organization
- Ability to comprehend project specifications and contract documents
- Ability to review and comprehend technical drawing packages including Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID's), General Arrangements, and fabrication drawing details
- Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels within the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Hands on user knowledge of ERP systems in an engineered-to-order business model
- Travel as needed to support projects required
- Driving is an essential function of this position
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time and work on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds in an office setting
- Must be able to sit, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and bend
- Must be able to see, speak, hear, and read
- Must use fingers and hands to manipulate/utilize office machines
- Must be able to walk over both even and uneven surfaces
- Some aspects of this position may require close vision, depth perception, the ability to see small detail, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to travel by car and airplane as needed
