Job Summary
Senior Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing engineering projects from order through customer acceptance; coordinate across customers, engineering, sales, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and in alignment with technical requirements. Responsibilities include managing multiple engineering and test system integration projects from point of sale through customer acceptance; acting as primary customer contact for scope, contractual requirements, schedule, budget, and change management; building and managing project plans, schedules, resources, material requirements, and labor plans; monitoring costs, gross margin, risks, milestones, and deliverables with weekly status reporting; coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues; supporting proposals and estimating activities; validating technical scope with customers and sales engineers; maintaining accurate documentation; traveling periodically to customer sites to support execution; requiring travel and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to balance technical requirements with business priorities and customer expectations; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and project planning tools; preferred PMP/CAP or automation credentials; experience with powertrain testing, dynamometers, EV technologies, EPA procedures, and electrical codes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least five years of related test facility engineering design experience, including at least two years of electronics systems integration or test facility construction project management experience; or a master’s degree in Engineering with at least two years of engineering design experience, including at least one year of test facility construction or electronics systems integration project management experience.
