Job Summary
Manage IT projects through the full life cycle from definition and approval to implementation and evaluation of deliverables. Identify, track, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies while facilitating amicable solutions with customers. Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources to maintain timelines and deliver quality outcomes. Organize timely meetings to set objectives, discuss obstacles, and incorporate business and customer expectations into prioritization. Enforce standards to meet project goals while developing and applying project management methodology and culture. This role requires a PMP-certified candidate with ten years of medium-to-large scale IT project management experience and three years of IT consulting background.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
- FIVE years of RECENT relevant project management experience, with a progression in responsibility
- 10 years PM experience managing medium to large scale IT projects
- Current PMP Certification
- At least 3 years IT consulting experience
- SCRUM Master and/or Product Owner Experience
- Advanced proficiency in System Development Life Cycle AND Agile methodology
- Proficient in Microsoft Tools, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, and Azure DevOps
- Skilled at conflict resolution
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate to management, business, and technical personnel
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration
- Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
- Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
