Job Summary
Manage, oversee, and coordinate small to medium fire alarm projects from award through completion, translating customer needs into detailed proposals and implementation plans. Effectively communicate requirements to the project team and wider organization while maintaining accurate records of job status, material flow, and control data. Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, and services to ensure timely, cost-effective completion within budget, and establish milestones to analyze costs. Act as the customer's primary service provider by maximizing satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance across all assigned projects. This full-time role requires 5-7 years of project management experience in technical environments, including fire alarm systems, and involves a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years project management
- Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years relevant engineering, field service or project management
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
- Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI); industry-specific certifications and/or licenses
