Job Summary
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules for Digital Shared Services initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations. Monitor project performance, risks, and issues, providing regular updates to steering committees while leading software development projects using traditional and Agile methodologies. Drive organizational change management initiatives using PROSCI (ADKAR) frameworks and oversee implementation of staff scheduling, patient safety systems, and physiological monitoring devices. Facilitate collaboration across clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders and provide leadership and mentorship to project teams. This 15-month contract with Shared Health (Government of Manitoba) requires a PMP and PROSCI certified professional with 15+ years of healthcare project management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Valid PROSCI (ADKAR) Change Management Certification
- 15+ years of project management experience in a healthcare environment
- Proven experience delivering large-scale projects, including at least one project director role overseeing multiple project managers
- 7+ years managing healthcare software development projects, including Agile methodologies
- 5+ years implementing structured change management strategies (e.g., PROSCI)
- 3+ years developing business cases with multi-site stakeholder input
- 3+ years managing staff scheduling/workforce management system implementations
- 2+ years working on patient safety and incident reporting system implementations
- 1+ year experience with physiological monitoring device projects
