Job Summary
Project Manager 1 for Feasibility and Schematic Design at MSBA, conducting independent technical review of design and construction documents, supporting public school projects, requiring a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years experience in architecture, design, or project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, project management, construction, or related field
- Two-to-five years of experience associated with architecture, design, construction, project management, or other applicable disciplines
- Thorough understanding of the design process from conceptual phases through construction documents
- Proficiency in Office 365 software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to gather, analyze, and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and comprehensible manner
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to occasionally visit project sites.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience associated with public construction and/or educational facilities
- Knowledge of Massachusetts public bidding laws
- Previous experience working with federal, state, county, or local government.
