Job Summary
Manage assigned projects valued up to $1M from award through completion, including overall site management, installation planning, and subcontractor supervision. Translate customer requirements into detailed proposals and implementation plans, negotiate contracts, and prepare schedules, invoices, and change proposals. Control project costs, monitor cash flow, and identify risks to minimize deviations from estimated budgets and deadlines. Communicate project status, change proposals, and activities regularly with customers to maximize satisfaction and ensure quality assurance. Review actual versus estimated job costs, adjust project plans as necessary, and manage direct reports or subcontractor selection.
Required Qualifications
- College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- Associates degree in Engineering or related field
- 3 years relevant engineering, field service or project management
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation and/or AV systems
- Must have knowledge of Security Systems and Access Control
- Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Previous project supervisory experience
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
- Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses
