Job Summary
Project Manager for TC Energy’s Canadian pipeline systems. You will supervise and manage General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) projects for process safety critical equipment (e.g., turbo compressor equipment and balance of plant systems), oversee maintenance projects to meet regulatory and corporate requirements, manage time and cost (budgets, schedules, change control, risk), provide regular performance updates, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants/contractors. The role requires travel to company locations for temporary assignments with some overnight stays, and offers a hybrid work model for eligible office-based staff in Canada, the US, and Mexico. Demonstrated project management and technical leadership, plus ability to develop and implement management tools, standards, and processes, are essential, along with strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 10 years of related project management experience
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Proficient in PC-based computer systems and software applications (SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Master Plan, Project)
- PMP certification will be an asset (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25% (to other company locations for temporary assignments)
- Ability to lead and influence without formal authority
- Strong communication, delegation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills
- Experience supervising/working with external consultants and contractors
