Job Summary
Lead advanced nuclear project execution by driving daily, weekly, and monthly progress reporting rhythms and resolving cross-functional issues. Communicate project requirements to the team, partner with commercial stakeholders to define scope and negotiate contracts, and plan activities across engineering functions. Monitor cost and schedule progress to address variances, rapidly mitigate risks, and ensure quality adherence to standards. Build consensus within matrixed teams to influence stakeholders and drive successful outcomes while ensuring accurate customer invoicing. Requires occasional travel (up to 25%) and access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 3 years of Project Management or related leadership experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%)
Desired Qualifications
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other STEM discipline
- Nuclear power industry experience, especially in licensing
- Knowledge of international nuclear export control regulations
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve complex problems
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust with customers, managers, and team members
- Ability to distill complex information and focus on critical priorities
- Ability to make decisions with speed and accuracy, based on best available information
- Experience working and influencing in a matrixed environment
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills
