Job Summary
Lead large-scale equipment installations in manufacturing facilities by developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams, and overseeing the installation process from start to finish. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and facilitate regular communications to keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Review engineering and architectural drawings, approve invoices and change orders, and conduct final inspections to ensure seamless integration into existing operations. This role requires a strong background in project management and engineering, with the ability to obtain US Government Secret and Special Access Program clearances. Located on-site in Clearfield, Utah, this position supports Northrop Grumman's mission to define the future through revolutionary systems.
Required Qualifications
- Project Management or the following engineering field: Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Electrical, Process, Production & Manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in mentioned fields
- Master's degree with 0 years of experience in mentioned field
- PhD with 1 years of experience in mentioned fields
- 2 years of experience in Project Management methodologies and tools, including Gantt charts, project management software systems and risk management
- Valid Utah driver's license
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- PMP or other relevant project management certification
- Experience with large-scale equipment installations in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for equipment installation in manufacturing environments
- Experience with presentations to leadership, executive and or management
- Experience in aerospace industry
