Job Summary
Lead and support the office Project Management team by overseeing project execution direction, planning, and resource allocation. Manage project financial metrics, change management strategies, and forecasting while assigning tasks based on skill sets and complexity. Provide leadership through training, performance feedback, and individual development to ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and customer satisfaction expectations. Act as an escalation point for team issues and interface directly with clients as required. Collaborate with Operations Management and the VP of Project Management to align with line-of-business needs and test new tools.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing Project Management teams in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology (Structured Cabling / Security) or related industry
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Audio-Visual industry
- Formal education in Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related field
- Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives with a results-oriented approach
- Advanced knowledge and application of Project Management skills and techniques
- Ability to understand the team and provide solutions for optimal performance
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment to create alignment within the Project Management team
- Exceptional strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to travel to various locations in support of the account
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) or PRINCE2-Practitioner Certification
