Job Summary
The Project Management Intern at DAP will work under the mentorship of a Project Manager on developing new project management schedules, establishing standardized protocols for capturing lessons learned, or designing AI integration within NPD. The internship requires skills in project management fundamentals, familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, analytical skills for market research, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be pursuing a major in Marketing, Communications, or Project Management, and must be at least juniors or seniors.
Required Qualifications
- Major: Marketing, Communications, Project Management
- Project Management Fundamentals
- Understanding of basic PM concepts (scope, schedule, risk, deliverables)
- Familiarity with methodologies like Waterfall and Agile
- Analytical & Research Skills
- Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Comfort with data interpretation and summarizing insights
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Skilled in creating templates, SOPs, and structured repositories
- Strong attention to detail for organizing lessons learned
- Technical & Digital Literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with PM tools like Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or Accolade
- Basic understanding of AI tools (e.g., Jasper, Copilot) and prompt design
- Communication & Collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, and operations teams
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability
- Comfortable adjusting plans when obstacles arise
- Creative thinking for process improvement and AI integration
