Job Summary
The Project Management Intern will provide project and field support on active commercial construction projects, assisting with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, quality control, safety, and field operations under the guidance of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers. Responsibilities include obtaining and tracking submittals and RFIs, maintaining project files, participating in meetings, coordinating materials and subcontractor activities, documenting action items, and supporting cost tracking and progress reporting. The role emphasizes learning construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office), developing organizational and leadership skills, and contributing to the full construction lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout. Travel to project sites and occasional trips to the Sterling Heights headquarters are expected; candidates should include their project list and travel preferences when applying. Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Students entering their junior or senior year are preferred.
