Project Management Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate daily construction activities by maintaining production reports, street sheet logs, and weekly project inputs within PMO systems. Monitor permitting activities, engineering deliverables, and construction readiness while tracking status updates and escalating risks to project managers. Distribute meeting notes, document jurisdictional requirements, and manage communication with contractors regarding approved permits and conditions. Assist project and permitting teams with closeout documentation and ensure vendors comply with applicable permit conditions. Maintain organized project trackers, logs, and correspondence in accordance with established processes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining project data and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to learn and effectively use project management, permitting, and tracking systems.
- Ability to communicate professionally with construction contractors, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Strong follow-up skills and the ability to identify outstanding items and drive them toward completion.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a PMO/project team environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Construction, telecommunications, utility, infrastructure, engineering, or permitting experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in project coordination, construction administration, PMO support, permitting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction processes, permitting requirements, jurisdictional requirements, and project closeout documentation.
- Experience maintaining project trackers, production reports, meeting minutes, or construction logs.
- Experience working with construction contractors and/or permitting agencies.
