Job Summary
Manage project setup by creating bottle orders, scheduling couriers, and confirming subcontract lab vendors. Handle sample logistics through receipt, login to LIMS, generating paperwork, and sending client confirmations. Compile case narratives, upload data, and create final reports by client due dates. Review and issue invoices, manage credit/debit memos, and submit state reporting forms. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, inventory supplies, assemble kits, and prepare shipments. Interface with customers via phone and in person. Perform duties including lifting up to 50lbs of samples. Work full-time Monday through Friday with brief rotating weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- High school Chemistry coursework
- basic laboratory experience
- Environmental laboratory experience
- 1-3 years business experience
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
- May need to lift up to 50lbs coolers of samples on occasion
- Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the lab
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Pays close attention to detail
- Exhibits ability to use LIMS software competently
- Reading, writing and speaking skills
- Problem solving skills
- Team participation and meeting management skills
- Time management and organization skills
- Use calculator/mathematical formulas and concepts
- Complete work within time and quality constraints

- Brief weekend work will be required approximately one weekend per month on a rotating schedule
