Job Summary
Coordinate telecommunications and technology projects by assisting with planning, scheduling, and tracking milestones while maintaining project documentation, risk logs, and status reports. Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action items, then follow up on deliverables with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Monitor task dependencies and deadlines, escalating potential delays to the Project Manager, and support implementation readiness, acceptance testing, and operational handoffs. Complete required apprenticeship coursework, training assignments, and competency assessments while learning IT&E project processes and quality standards. Work 40 hours per week in Guam, attending two classes per semester, and submit Mayor's Verification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US citizenship or resident alien status
- At least 18 years of age
- Residency in Guam for a period not less than three (3) consecutive years before entry into the program
- Ability to attend a minimum of two (2) classes per semester
- Ability to work forty (40) hours per week with IT&E
- Willingness to complete assigned apprenticeship-related instruction
- Completion of an entry-level project management course or certification, such as CAPM preparation
