Job Summary
Manage the Project Logistics Manager team to ensure large-scale events, natural disasters, and major projects execute efficiently while delivering world-class service. Lead regional strategic fleet service and safety campaigns, spearhead training for service managers, and conduct annual performance evaluations for PLMs. Arrange proper product, staffing, and fleet coverage through pre-project planning and strategy sessions, and meet with high-level customer representatives to address issues. Be onsite for projects as necessary and influence others through exemplary leadership, accountability, and communication. Requires 3+ years of operational oversight, extensive logistics experience, and up to 75% travel throughout the year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of service, operational and project or event based oversight
- Solid leadership and communication skills to motivate and maximize employee performance
- High level technical knowledge of applicable specialty region products and applications
- Strong customer service and relationship skills
- Extensive logistics, project management and leadership experience in large scale projects/events
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, RentalMan)
- Result oriented with ability to influence others
- Demonstrated strengths in logistical planning, analysis, prioritizing and problem solving
- Performance management and coaching skills
- Up to 75% travel throughout year to projects or events
- May be required to remain at project or event for its duration
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
