Job Summary
Lead multiple low to moderately complex engineering projects in battery and charger development; provide project management and technical direction across Value Engineering and Product Support. Facilitate meetings, manage schedules and budgets, drive design to meet market requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Marketing, Suppliers), perform risk assessment and implement mitigation, review design for manufacturing, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct design and safety reviews, utilize 3D CAD, FMEA, DFM/DFA, prepare test plans, and travel internationally (approximately 10-15%).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years engineering experience
- Experience with 3D CAD and tolerance analysis
- Familiarity with FMEA, DFM, and DFA
- Ability to travel internationally (10-15%)
- Graduate studies in Project Management preferred; formal PM training desirable
