Job Summary
Manage project execution for Cooperative Threat Reduction initiatives by developing briefings for senior DoD officials, drafting contract documents, and monitoring cost/schedule/scope across regional and country portfolios. Advise the Project Officer on planning, budgeting, and evaluation while ensuring deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements. Provide recurring updates to operational imperatives and support acquisition strategies through the entire lifecycle, including travel planning and contractor engagement. This role supports the DTRA CTR Security and Elimination Department, building partner nation capabilities under congressional authorities. Requires a Secret Clearance and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret Clearance required
- Experienced with the Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suites
- Demonstrated ability to write for Senior Leaders
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently
- Strong attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- Masters Degree
- 5+ years of related experience
- Certified Scrum Master or PMP Certification
- DTRA CTR or Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) or Counter WMD experience
