Job Summary
Lead and oversee shipboard HM&E or electronic system projects in a fast-paced DoD environment, directing a 10- to 15-person Alteration Installation Team (AIT) to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Apply in-depth knowledge of shipboard systems, mentor cross-functional teams, ensure quality assurance and compliance with contract specifications, prepare status reports for senior management, and coordinate with management, subcontractors, and customers. Travel up to 10% within and outside the continental United States; position requires the ability to work aboard ships and in shipyards, with adherence to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as Site Foreman or similar role in AIT ship repair
- Knowledge of shipboard systems and equipment
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required
- Five to Seven years’ experience overseeing and directing Project-Level initiatives
- Experience leading a 10- to 15-person Alteration Installation Team (AIT)
- Background in directing daily production to meet schedule milestones
- Knowledge of maintaining QAWB and OQE requirements
- Experience communicating with management, subcontractors, and customers regarding project cost, staffing, and scheduling
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility per security requirements

- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required for most positions
