Job Summary
Lead electrical engineering projects from concept design through construction by coordinating schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Prepare and review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports while ensuring compliance with building and electrical codes. Provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and BIM staff through design reviews and construction support. Build strong client relationships and coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal disciplines. Mentor junior staff and manage project scope, resources, and financial performance to deliver on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology Diploma
- Progressive consulting engineering experience in building electrical systems
- Experience leading electrical engineering projects
- Strong understanding of base building electrical design and applicable codes and standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work
