Job Summary
Project Interior Designer with a professional degree in Interior Design (CIDA-accredited) and at least 8 years of experience in commercial design, responsible for interpreting and executing conceptual design, leading design vision, and overseeing interior project delivery across all phases (programming, space planning, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration). The role involves coordinating consultants, developing workplace concepts and research-based strategies for corporate clients, meeting contract requirements, and mentoring other interior designers. Requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and MS Office, with Lumion preferred; NCIDQ is required, CID is a plus, and LEED AP/WELL AP credentials are a plus. The position is based in Minneapolis, MN, with full-time employment and a focus on delivering medium to large-scale corporate office projects. EOEs for minorities/females/vets/disability.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited school
- Minimum of 8 years Interior Design experience in a commercial design firm
- NCIDQ required
- CID a plus
- LEED AP and WELL AP a plus
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Lumion preferred
- Fundamental understanding of commercial building codes
